Hailing from Balitmore, rapper Shordie-Shordie drops his a video for his new single titled “LOVE.” Stamped by the household producer Murda Beatz, he took the reins with his unique and multi-faceted production to help create this gloomy and mellow love song. The single also features a verse & appearance from Trippie Redd. Shordie-Shordie offers melodic doubled vocals and a catchy hook, speaking his mind to a woman who seems to be tied down to another man while also having feelings for him. “I got a thing for a girl with a thing, Cause it show you that she got her mind on her too.” The music video promotes forever & eternity, with Shordie & his band playing at an assumed friend’s wedding ceremony (Murda Beatz playing the drums accordingly.) The chapel is filled with people dancing to Shordie’s timely ballad.
This is now Shordie-Shordie’s second collaboration with the producer Murda Beatz, who dropped another single titled “Good Evening” back in November of 2020. Both tracks will be featured on the pairs collaborative album titled “Memory Lane.” Shordie has had recent success with the release of his last two mixtapes and his hit song “Bitchuary,” which garnered 74 million plays on Youtube. The track also went on to go platinum, catapulting him into young stardom and gathering attention from the likes of Drake, Travis Scott, and others. Though his success is in its infancy, we are looking forward to more Shordie-Shordie. Check out the video below.
